Key terms

Document: Documents can be created by users from their available suite of templates. Documents are the individual pieces of collateral that live inside a project folder e.g. brochures, web ads, signage, business cards, social media tiles, etc. These documents can be edited based on the inputs available in that template. Documents may or may not require approval in order to be exported and downloaded, shared, or printed.

Export: Documents converted to their finished file format e.g. HTML files being converted into PDF documents.

What is a share link?

A share link is a live link that allows you to send your document to anyone, allowing them to view and download the document, regardless of their permissions in the platform.

How to Share Exported Documents

Once you have exported a document, you can use what we refer to as a share link to share your document externally.

To use a share link, you will need to export your document first.

There are two locations you can select the share link from, the export screen and the preview screen.

Export screen:

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the person I am sending the share link to need a License?

No - a share link allows you to send your document to anyone and they will be able to view and download the document via the link.

When is a share link used?

A share link can be used anytime, but an example is if you need to send a document to a printer, and the file is too large to send via email. You can simply provide the printer with the link and they will be able to download it.
